After-School Program
Umoja Debate League’s after-school program is open to students in grades 6–12 who are enrolled at one of our participating partner schools.
Our after-school season runs from January through June, with weekly team practices held at each partner school. Students compete in monthly debate tournaments from February through June, strengthening critical thinking, literacy, self-expression, confidence, and conflict resolution through a structured, supportive, and competitive debate experience designed to build transferable life skills.
