UMOJA DEBATE LEAGUE LAUNCHES 2023-2024 DEBATE SEASON

Umoja Debate League gears up for the start of the 2023-24 debate season. With the support of the Michigan Department of Education’s Out-Of-School Time Grant, Umoja was able to expand into 12 additional sites this year, bringing the total number of teams to 20. Serving both middle and high school students, the league is poised to ignite passion, critical thinking, and civic engagement in young minds across the Metro Detroit area.
